Irmos: Once, in Babylon, the youths who had come forth from Judæa trod down the flame of the furnace with their faith in the Trinity, chanting: O God of our fathers, blessed art Thou!
Theotokion: Just as the bush which Moses saw burned yet was not consumed, so didst thou, O Virgin, remain unconsumed when thou didst conceive the Sun of righteousness in thy womb. Him do thou beseech, that our souls be saved.
Enduring tortures, burned by material fire, thou didst bedew thy soul with immaterial fire, crying out in the midst of the flame like the three youths: O God of our fathers, blessed art Thou!
By thy humility and dispassion, as with life-bearing dew, thou didst extinguish the fire of the rage of thine iniquitous tormentors, O venerable martyr; for they marvelled, beholding thee in the midst of tortures, praying for thine enemies.
Having girt thy loins about with the courage of the martyrs, and adorned thyself with thy life of ascetic struggle as with a splendid robe, as one of the elect thou didst hasten to the banquet of the Lord, chanting: O God of our fathers, blessed art Thou!
