Having humbled thyself in the Lord, O father, thou didst bring low the serpent who boasted in malice; and thou didst cry out: Bless the Lord, all ye works of the Lord!
Theotokion: Having given birth to the all-comely Word, thou wast shown to be a comely Virgin. To Him do we chant: Bless the Lord, all ye works of the Lord!
