Irmos: The Babylonian furnace did not consume the children, nor did the fire of the Godhead harm the Virgin. Wherefore, O ye faithful, let us cry out with the children: Bless the Lord, ye works of the Lord!
Theotokion: Verily the words of thy song have been fulfilled, O all-immaculate Virgin, for the Mighty One hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their heart, and hath exalted the holy Maximus, who with his people was of low degree.
