Numbers 34

1Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

2'Command the children of Israel and say to them, 'You shall come into the land of Canaan, and it shall be your inheritance, the land of Canaan with its borders.

ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν Χανααν αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς κληρονομίαν γῆ Χανααν σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς

3'Your southern border shall be from the Desert of Sin to the border of Edom; so your southern border shall extend eastward to the end of the Salt Sea;

καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σιν ἕως ἐχόμενον Εδωμ καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν

4and your borders shall go around from the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Sin, and be on the south of Kadesh Barnea; then it shall go on to Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon;

καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμᾶς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν Ακραβιν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ πρὸς λίβα Καδης τοῦ Βαρνη καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν Αραδ καὶ παρελεύσεται Ασεμωνα

5and the border shall go around from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its termination shall be the sea.

καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ασεμωνα χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα

6'As for the western borders, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.

καὶ τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης

7'Now this shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall measure your border along the mountain range;

καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται τὰ ὅρια ὑμῖν πρὸς βορρᾶν ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος

8and from the mountain range you shall measure your border to Hamath; and its termination shall be the borders of Zedad;

καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους τὸ ὄρος καταμετρήσετε αὐτοῖς εἰσπορευομένων εἰς Εμαθ καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ τὰ ὅρια Σαραδα

9and the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and its termination shall be Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.

καὶ ἐξελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Δεφρωνα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ Ασερναιν τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ὅρια ἀπὸ βορρᾶ

10'You shall measure your eastern borders from Hazar Enan to Shepham;

καὶ καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὅρια ἀνατολῶν ἀπὸ Ασερναιν Σεπφαμα

11and the borders shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; and the borders shall go down to Bela behind the Sea of Chinnereth from the east;

καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφαμ Αρβηλα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἐπὶ πηγάς καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλα ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χεναρα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν

12and the borders shall go down along the Jordan, and its termination shall be the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding borders.' '

καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ

13Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, 'This is the land you shall inherit by lot, in the manner the Lord ordered Moses to give it to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe of Manasseh.

καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων αὕτη ἡ γῆ ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ δοῦναι αὐτὴν ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση

14For the tribe of the sons of Reuben and the tribe of the sons of Gad according to the houses of their fathers and the half-tribe of Manasseh received their allotments.

ὅτι ἔλαβεν φυλὴ υἱῶν Ρουβην καὶ φυλὴ υἱῶν Γαδ κατ᾿ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν

15The two tribes and the half-tribe received their allotments beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho from the south towards the east.'

δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπὸ νότου κατ᾿ ἀνατολάς

16Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

17'These are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.

ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν οἳ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη

18You shall take rulers, one from every tribe, to divide the land for the inheritance.

καὶ ἄρχοντα ἕνα ἐκ φυλῆς λήμψεσθε κατακληρονομῆσαι ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν

19Now these are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῆς φυλῆς Ιουδα Χαλεβ υἱὸς Ιεφοννη

20from the tribe of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud;

τῆς φυλῆς Συμεων Σαλαμιηλ υἱὸς Εμιουδ

21from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;

τῆς φυλῆς Βενιαμιν Ελδαδ υἱὸς Χασλων

22from the tribe of Dan a ruler, Bukki the son of Jogli;

τῆς φυλῆς Δαν ἄρχων Βακχιρ υἱὸς Εγλι

23from the sons of Joseph's tribe: a ruler from the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod,

τῶν υἱῶν Ιωσηφ φυλῆς υἱῶν Μανασση ἄρχων Ανιηλ υἱὸς Ουφι

24a ruler from the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Εφραιμ ἄρχων Καμουηλ υἱὸς Σαβαθα

25a ruler from the tribe of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;

τῆς φυλῆς Ζαβουλων ἄρχων Ελισαφαν υἱὸς Φαρναχ

26a ruler from the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan;

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ισσαχαρ ἄρχων Φαλτιηλ υἱὸς Οζα

27a ruler from the tribe of the sons of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ασηρ ἄρχων Αχιωρ υἱὸς Σελεμι

28a ruler from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.'

τῆς φυλῆς Νεφθαλι ἄρχων Φαδαηλ υἱὸς Βεναμιουδ

29These are the ones the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance among the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

οὗτοι οἷς ἐνετείλατο κύριος καταμερίσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐν γῇ Χανααν
