Numbers 33

1Now these are the stages in the journeys of the children of Israel who went out from the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

καὶ οὗτοι σταθμοὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὡς ἐξῆλθον ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ καὶ Ααρων

2So Moses wrote their departures and the stages in their journeys by the word of the Lord.

καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς τὰς ἀπάρσεις αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς σταθμοὺς αὐτῶν διὰ ῥήματος κυρίου καὶ οὗτοι σταθμοὶ τῆς πορείας αὐτῶν

3They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after Pascha, the children of Israel went out with a high hand before all the Egyptians.

ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ραμεσση τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πρώτῳ τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου τῇ ἐπαύριον τοῦ πασχα ἐξῆλθον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐν χειρὶ ὑψηλῇ ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν Αἰγυπτίων

4But the Egyptians were burying from among themselves all who died, whom the Lord struck down, every firstborn in the land of Egypt; and the Lord executed vengeance on their gods.

καὶ οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ἔθαπτον ἐξ αὑτῶν τοὺς τεθνηκότας πάντας οὓς ἐπάταξεν κύριος πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ ἐν τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν ἐποίησεν τὴν ἐκδίκησιν κύριος

5Then the children of Israel departed from Rameses and camped in Succoth.

καὶ ἀπάραντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ Ραμεσση παρενέβαλον εἰς Σοκχωθ

6They departed from Succoth and camped in Etham, which is part of the desert.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Σοκχωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Βουθαν ὅ ἐστιν μέρος τι τῆς ἐρήμου

7They departed from Etham and camped at the mouth of Hahiroth, which is opposite Baal Zephon; and they camped opposite Migdol.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Βουθαν καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐπὶ στόμα Εϊρωθ ὅ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι Βεελσεπφων καὶ παρενέβαλον ἀπέναντι Μαγδώλου

8They departed opposite Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the desert; and they went three days' journey through the desert and camped at Marah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἀπέναντι Εϊρωθ καὶ διέβησαν μέσον τῆς θαλάσσης εἰς τὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδὸν τριῶν ἡμερῶν διὰ τῆς ἐρήμου αὐτοὶ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Πικρίαις

9They departed from Marah and came to Elim. At Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the water.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Πικριῶν καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Αιλιμ καὶ ἐν Αιλιμ δώδεκα πηγαὶ ὑδάτων καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα στελέχη φοινίκων καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐκεῖ παρὰ τὸ ὕδωρ

10They departed from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Αιλιμ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐρυθράν

11They departed from the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἐρυθρᾶς καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σιν

12They departed from the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Σιν καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ραφακα

13They departed from Dophkah and camped at Alush.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ραφακα καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Αιλους

14They departed from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Αιλους καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ραφιδιν καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὕδωρ τῷ λαῷ πιεῖν ἐκεῖ

15They departed from Rephidim and camped in the Sinai Desert.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ραφιδιν καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα

16They moved from the Sinai Desert and camped at Graves of Lust.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Σινα καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Μνήμασιν τῆς ἐπιθυμίας

17They departed from Graves of Lust and camped at Hazeroth.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Μνημάτων ἐπιθυμίας καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ασηρωθ

18They departed from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Ασηρωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ραθαμα

19They departed from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ραθαμα καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ρεμμων Φαρες

20They departed from Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ρεμμων Φαρες καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Λεμωνα

21They departed from Libnah and camped at Rissah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Λεμωνα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Δεσσα

22They departed from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Δεσσα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Μακελλαθ

23They departed from Kehelathah and camped at Shepher.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Μακελλαθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Σαφαρ

24They departed from Shepher and camped at Haradah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Σαφαρ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Χαραδαθ

25They departed from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Χαραδαθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Μακηλωθ

26They departed from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Μακηλωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Κατααθ

27They departed from Tahath and camped at Terah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Κατααθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ταραθ

28They departed from Terah and camped at Mithkah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ταραθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ματεκκα

29They departed from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ματεκκα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Σελμωνα

30They departed from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Σελμωνα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Μασσουρουθ

31They departed from Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Μασσουρουθ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Βαναια

32They departed from Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Hagidgad.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Βαναια καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς τὸ ὄρος Γαδγαδ

33They departed from Hor Hagidgad and camped at Jotbathah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους Γαδγαδ καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ετεβαθα

34They departed from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Ετεβαθα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Εβρωνα

35They departed from Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Εβρωνα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Γεσιωνγαβερ

36They departed from Ezion Geber and camped in the Desert of Sin; and they departed from the Desert of Sin and camped in the Desert of Paran (this is Kadesh).

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Γεσιωνγαβερ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σιν καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Σιν καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Φαραν αὕτη ἐστὶν Καδης

37They departed from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, near the land of Edom.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Καδης καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ωρ τὸ ὄρος πλησίον γῆς Εδωμ

38Then Aaron the priest went up at the command of the Lord and died there, in the fortieth year of the exodus of the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

καὶ ἀνέβη Ααρων ὁ ἱερεὺς διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκεῖ ἐν τῷ τεσσαρακοστῷ ἔτει τῆς ἐξόδου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πέμπτῳ μιᾷ τοῦ μηνός

39Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.

καὶ Ααρων ἦν τριῶν καὶ εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατὸν ἐτῶν ὅτε ἀπέθνῃσκεν ἐν Ωρ τῷ ὄρει

40Now this was the time when the Canaanite king of Arad (and this man dwelt in the land of Canaan) heard the children of Israel were coming.

καὶ ἀκούσας ὁ Χανανις βασιλεὺς Αραδ καὶ οὗτος κατῴκει ἐν γῇ Χανααν ὅτε εἰσεπορεύοντο οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ

41Then they departed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Ωρ τοῦ ὄρους καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Σελμωνα

42They departed from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Σελμωνα καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Φινω

43They departed from Punon and camped at Oboth.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Φινω καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ωβωθ

44They departed from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the borders of Moab.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Ωβωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Γαι ἐν τῷ πέραν ἐπὶ τῶν ὁρίων Μωαβ

45They departed from Ije Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Γαι καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Δαιβων Γαδ

46They departed from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Δαιβων Γαδ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Γελμων Δεβλαθαιμ

47They departed from Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Γελμων Δεβλαθαιμ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη τὰ Αβαριμ ἀπέναντι Ναβαυ

48They departed from the mountains of Abarim and camped west of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.

καὶ ἀπῆραν ἀπὸ ὀρέων Αβαριμ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω

49They camped by the Jordan between Beth Jesimoth as far as the Abel Acacia Grove, west of Moab.

καὶ παρενέβαλον παρὰ τὸν Ιορδάνην ἀνὰ μέσον Αισιμωθ ἕως Βελσαττιμ κατὰ δυσμὰς Μωαβ

50Now the Lord spoke to Moses west of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωαβ παρὰ τὸν Ιορδάνην κατὰ Ιεριχω λέγων

51'Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, 'You are crossing over the Jordan into the land of Canaan.

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην εἰς γῆν Χανααν

52Then you shall destroy all the inhabitants of the land before your face; and you shall remove their high places, and as for all their molten idols, you shall destroy these; and you shall remove all their pillars.

καὶ ἀπολεῖτε πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν τῇ γῇ πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξαρεῖτε τὰς σκοπιὰς αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ εἴδωλα τὰ χωνευτὰ αὐτῶν ἀπολεῖτε αὐτὰ καὶ πάσας τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν ἐξαρεῖτε

53You shall also destroy all the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I give you their land as an inheritance.

καὶ ἀπολεῖτε πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν καὶ κατοικήσετε ἐν αὐτῇ ὑμῖν γὰρ δέδωκα τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν ἐν κλήρῳ

54Therefore you shall inherit their land by lot among your tribes; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone's inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

καὶ κατακληρονομήσετε τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν ἐν κλήρῳ κατὰ φυλὰς ὑμῶν τοῖς πλείοσιν πληθυνεῖτε τὴν κατάσχεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ τοῖς ἐλάττοσιν ἐλαττώσετε τὴν κατάσχεσιν αὐτῶν εἰς ὃ ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ αὐτοῦ ἔσται κατὰ φυλὰς πατριῶν ὑμῶν κληρονομήσετε

55But if you do not destroy the inhabitants of the land from before your face, it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be thorns in your eyes and arrows in your sides; and they shall be at enmity with you in the land where you dwell.

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀπολέσητε τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν καὶ ἔσται οὓς ἐὰν καταλίπητε ἐξ αὐτῶν σκόλοπες ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν καὶ βολίδες ἐν ταῖς πλευραῖς ὑμῶν καὶ ἐχθρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐφ᾿ ἣν ὑμεῖς κατοικήσετε

56Moreover, it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them.' '

καὶ ἔσται καθότι διεγνώκειν ποιῆσαι αὐτούς ποιήσω ὑμῖν
