Leviticus 27

1Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

2'Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, 'When a man vows a vow to the Lord equivalent to the value of his soul,

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς ὃς ἂν εὔξηται εὐχὴν ὥστε τιμὴν τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ

3and if your valuation is of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old, his valuation shall be fifty didrachm of silver, according to the pure measure.

ἔσται ἡ τιμὴ τοῦ ἄρσενος ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς ἕως ἑξηκονταετοῦς ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ τιμὴ πεντήκοντα δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου τῷ σταθμῷ τῷ ἁγίῳ

4But if it is of a female, your valuation shall be thirty didrachm;

τῆς δὲ θηλείας ἔσται ἡ συντίμησις τριάκοντα δίδραχμα

5and if from five years old up to twenty years old, your valuation for a male shall be twenty didrachm, and for a female ten didrachm;

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ πενταετοῦς ἕως εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἔσται ἡ τιμὴ τοῦ ἄρσενος εἴκοσι δίδραχμα τῆς δὲ θηλείας δέκα δίδραχμα

6and if from a month old up to five years old, your valuation for a male shall be five didrachm of silver, and for a female, three didrachm of silver;

ἀπὸ δὲ μηνιαίου ἕως πενταετοῦς ἔσται ἡ τιμὴ τοῦ ἄρσενος πέντε δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου τῆς δὲ θηλείας τρία δίδραχμα

7and if from sixty years old and above, if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen didrachm, and for a female ten didrachm.

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ ἑξηκονταετῶν καὶ ἐπάνω ἐὰν μὲν ἄρσεν ᾖ ἔσται ἡ τιμὴ πεντεκαίδεκα δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου ἐὰν δὲ θήλεια δέκα δίδραχμα

8But if he is too poor to pay your valuation, he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall set a value for him; according to the ability of him who vowed, the priest shall value him.

ἐὰν δὲ ταπεινὸς ᾖ τῇ τιμῇ στήσεται ἐναντίον τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ τιμήσεται αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεύς καθάπερ ἰσχύει ἡ χεὶρ τοῦ εὐξαμένου τιμήσεται αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεύς

9If they bring from the cattle a gift to the Lord, whoever gives from these to the Lord, his gift shall be holy.

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν προσφερομένων ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν δῶρον τῷ κυρίῳ ὃς ἂν δῷ ἀπὸ τούτων τῷ κυρίῳ ἔσται ἅγιον

10He shall not change it, good for bad or bad for good; and if he changes it at all, cattle for cattle, then both it and that which is changed shall be holy.

οὐκ ἀλλάξει αὐτὸ καλὸν πονηρῷ οὐδὲ πονηρὸν καλῷ ἐὰν δὲ ἀλλάσσων ἀλλάξῃ αὐτὸ κτῆνος κτήνει ἔσται αὐτὸ καὶ τὸ ἄλλαγμα ἅγια

11But if it is any unclean animal which they do not offer as a gift to the Lord, he shall present the animal before the priest;

ἐὰν δὲ πᾶν κτῆνος ἀκάθαρτον ἀφ᾿ ὧν οὐ προσφέρεται ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν δῶρον τῷ κυρίῳ στήσει τὸ κτῆνος ἔναντι τοῦ ἱερέως

12and the priest shall set a value for it, whether good or bad; and as the priest values it, so it shall stand.

καὶ τιμήσεται αὐτὸ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀνὰ μέσον καλοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πονηροῦ καὶ καθότι ἂν τιμήσεται ὁ ἱερεύς οὕτως στήσεται

13But if he wants at all to redeem it, then he must add one-fifth to his valuation.

ἐὰν δὲ λυτρούμενος λυτρώσηται αὐτό προσθήσει τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον πρὸς τὴν τιμὴν αὐτοῦ

14And when a man sanctifies his house to be holy to the Lord, then the priest shall set a value for it, whether good or bad; as the priest values it, so it shall stand.

καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν ἁγιάσῃ τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ ἁγίαν τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ τιμήσεται αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀνὰ μέσον καλῆς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πονηρᾶς ὡς ἂν τιμήσεται αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεύς οὕτως σταθήσεται

15If he who sanctified his house wants to redeem it, he must add one-fifth of the silver of its valuation, and it shall be his.

ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ἁγιάσας αὐτὴν λυτρῶται τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ προσθήσει ἐπ᾿ αὐτὸ τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον τοῦ ἀργυρίου τῆς τιμῆς καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ

16Now if a man sanctifies part of the field of his possession to the Lord, then the valuation shall be according to the seed required for it: a cor of barley for fifty didrachm of silver.

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀγροῦ τῆς κατασχέσεως αὐτοῦ ἁγιάσῃ ἄνθρωπος τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἔσται ἡ τιμὴ κατὰ τὸν σπόρον αὐτοῦ κόρου κριθῶν πεντήκοντα δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου

17If he sanctifies part of his field from the Year of Remission, according to his valuation it shall stand.

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ τῆς ἀφέσεως ἁγιάσῃ τὸν ἀγρὸν αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὴν τιμὴν αὐτοῦ στήσεται

18But if he sanctifies his field subsequently after the Jubilee, the priest shall reckon to him the silver due according to the years that remain till the Year of Remission, and it shall be deducted from his valuation.

ἐὰν δὲ ἔσχατον μετὰ τὴν ἄφεσιν ἁγιάσῃ τὸν ἀγρὸν αὐτοῦ προσλογιεῖται αὐτῷ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ ἀργύριον ἐπὶ τὰ ἔτη τὰ ἐπίλοιπα ἕως εἰς τὸν ἐνιαυτὸν τῆς ἀφέσεως καὶ ἀνθυφαιρεθήσεται ἀπὸ τῆς συντιμήσεως αὐτοῦ

19And if he who sanctifies the field ever wishes to redeem it, he must add one-fifth of the silver to his valuation, and it shall belong to him.

ἐὰν δὲ λυτρῶται τὸν ἀγρὸν ὁ ἁγιάσας αὐτόν προσθήσει τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον τοῦ ἀργυρίου πρὸς τὴν τιμὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ

20But if he does not want to redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed anymore;

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρῶται τὸν ἀγρὸν καὶ ἀποδῶται τὸν ἀγρὸν ἀνθρώπῳ ἑτέρῳ οὐκέτι μὴ λυτρώσηται αὐτόν

21but the field, when it is released in the Remission, shall be holy to the Lord, as a field set apart; it shall be the possession of the priest.

ἀλλ᾿ ἔσται ὁ ἀγρὸς ἐξεληλυθυίας τῆς ἀφέσεως ἅγιος τῷ κυρίῳ ὥσπερ ἡ γῆ ἡ ἀφωρισμένη τῷ ἱερεῖ ἔσται κατάσχεσις

22But if a man sanctifies to the Lord part of a field he bought which is not the field of his possession,

ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀγροῦ οὗ κέκτηται ὃς οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀγροῦ τῆς κατασχέσεως αὐτοῦ ἁγιάσῃ τῷ κυρίῳ

23then the priest shall reckon to him its full assessment from the Year of Remission, and he shall pay its valuation on that day as holy to the Lord.

λογιεῖται πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ τέλος τῆς τιμῆς ἐκ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ τῆς ἀφέσεως καὶ ἀποδώσει τὴν τιμὴν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ

24Then in the Year of Remission, the field shall return to the man from whom he bought it, to the one who owned the land as a possession.

καὶ ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ τῆς ἀφέσεως ἀποδοθήσεται ὁ ἀγρὸς τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ παρ᾿ οὗ κέκτηται αὐτόν οὗ ἦν ἡ κατάσχεσις τῆς γῆς

25Now all your valuations shall be according to the pure measures: twenty obols to the didrachm.

καὶ πᾶσα τιμὴ ἔσται σταθμίοις ἁγίοις εἴκοσι ὀβολοὶ ἔσται τὸ δίδραχμον

26But the firstborn of your cattle, which shall be the Lord's firstborn, no man shall sanctify, whether a young calf or sheep; it is the Lord's.

καὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ὃ ἂν γένηται ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσίν σου ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ οὐ καθαγιάσει οὐθεὶς αὐτό ἐάν τε μόσχον ἐάν τε πρόβατον τῷ κυρίῳ ἐστίν

27Now if it is an unclean four-footed animal, he shall change it according to his valuation; and he shall add one-fifth to it, and it will be his. But if it is not redeemed, it shall be sold according to his valuation.

ἐὰν δὲ τῶν τετραπόδων τῶν ἀκαθάρτων ἀλλάξει κατὰ τὴν τιμὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ προσθήσει τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον πρὸς αὐτό καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρῶται πραθήσεται κατὰ τὸ τίμημα αὐτοῦ

28Nevertheless, any devoted thing a man may devote to the Lord of anything he has, man or animal, or part of the field of his possession, shall not be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord.

πᾶν δὲ ἀνάθεμα ὃ ἐὰν ἀναθῇ ἄνθρωπος τῷ κυρίῳ ἀπὸ πάντων ὅσα αὐτῷ ἐστιν ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους καὶ ἀπὸ ἀγροῦ κατασχέσεως αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἀποδώσεται οὐδὲ λυτρώσεται πᾶν ἀνάθεμα ἅγιον ἁγίων ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ

29Furthermore, people devoted to the Lord shall not be redeemed, but shall surely be put to death.

καὶ πᾶν ὃ ἐὰν ἀνατεθῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων οὐ λυτρωθήσεται ἀλλὰ θανάτῳ θανατωθήσεται

30Now all the tithe of the land, whether seed of the land or fruit of the tree, is the Lord's. It is holy to the Lord.

πᾶσα δεκάτη τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ τοῦ σπέρματος τῆς γῆς καὶ τοῦ καρποῦ τοῦ ξυλίνου τῷ κυρίῳ ἐστίν ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ

31If a man wants at all to redeem his tithe, he shall add one-fifth to it, and it will be his.

ἐὰν δὲ λυτρῶται λύτρῳ ἄνθρωπος τὴν δεκάτην αὐτοῦ τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον προσθήσει πρὸς αὐτό καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ

32Now concerning the tithe of the oxen or the sheep, of whatever passes in the numbering under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the Lord.

καὶ πᾶσα δεκάτη βοῶν καὶ προβάτων καὶ πᾶν ὃ ἐὰν ἔλθῃ ἐν τῷ ἀριθμῷ ὑπὸ τὴν ῥάβδον τὸ δέκατον ἔσται ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ

33You shall not change good for bad; but if he changes it at all, both it and that which is changed shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.' '

οὐκ ἀλλάξεις καλὸν πονηρῷ ἐὰν δὲ ἀλλάσσων ἀλλάξῃς αὐτό καὶ τὸ ἄλλαγμα αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἅγιον οὐ λυτρωθήσεται

34These are the commandments the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.

αὗταί εἰσιν αἱ ἐντολαί ἃς ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σινα
