Tobit 9

1camels with you and journey to Rages of Media. Find Gabael and bring the silver back to me and bring him to the wedding feast.

καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Τωβιας τὸν Ραφαηλ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ

2'Brother Azarias, take a servant and two camels with you and journey to Rages of Media. Find Gabael and bring the silver back to me and bring him to the wedding feast.

Αζαρια ἄδελφε λαβὲ μετὰ σεαυτοῦ παῖδα καὶ δύο καμήλους καὶ πορεύθητι ἐν Ῥάγοις τῆς Μηδίας παρὰ Γαβαηλ καὶ κόμισαί μοι τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ αὐτὸν ἄγε εἰς τὸν γάμον

3For Raguel has sworn an oath for me not to go away.

διότι ὀμώμοκεν Ραγουηλ μὴ ἐξελθεῖν με

4But my father is counting the days, and if I delay much longer he will be very distressed.'

καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου ἀριθμεῖ τὰς ἡμέρας καὶ ἐὰν χρονίσω μέγα ὀδυνηθήσεται λίαν

5Then Raphael went and spent the night with Gabael, and gave him the handwritten receipt. So Gabael brought the small sealed bags and gave them to him.

καὶ ἐπορεύθη Ραφαηλ καὶ ηὐλίσθη παρὰ Γαβαήλῳ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ τὸ χειρόγραφον ὃς δὲ προήνεγκεν τὰ θυλάκια ἐν ταῖς σφραγῖσιν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ

6They both rose early in the morning and went to the wedding feast. Then Tobias blessed his wife.

καὶ ὤρθρευσαν κοινῶς καὶ ἤλθοσαν εἰς τὸν γάμον καὶ εὐλόγησεν Τωβιας τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ
