Orthodox Daily Readings is a quiet, local-first app for the appointed daily readings of the Orthodox Church. There is no account, no network requirement, and no setup. The app does not serve ads and does not track you.

Your data stays on the device

Readings, the liturgical calendar, the prayer book, and the lives of the saints are bundled with the app. Highlights, notes, bookmarks, prayer intentions, and reading progress live in your device’s local storage. They are never uploaded, synced, or shared. Deleting the app deletes them.

Reminders

An optional daily reminder is scheduled on your phone and never sent from a server. Nothing about it leaves the device.

What this app does not do

It does not create accounts, run analytics, or collect a mailing list. It does not need a network connection once it is installed. The whole app works offline.
